Activities in the outdoors, bring their own potential hazards and risks that can lead to harm/damage, both material and personal, to third parties and yourself.

Damage can result from falls, slips, trips, exposure to very low and high temperatures, poor air quality, insect bites, attacks from animals etc. Outdoor sessions can involve uneven paths, declines and inclines and other physical hazards of this type. Events do go off the main paths and there may be water and mud present.

Sessions are held in areas that are open to the general public who may be present or walking in the same areas as the event. Dogs both on and off the leash can also be present because forest bathing takes place in a public location.

Although Peace & Pinecones tries to minimize these risks, they cannot be eliminated entirely and cannot totally control all the factors involved.

Therefore, by booking onto any event with Peace & Pinecones, you are agreeing to the following and declaring that:

· If I am pregnant, I understand that I participate fully at my own risk and that of my unborn child/children.

​

· I hereby take full and sole responsibility from any liability of loss or damage to personal property associated with any events.

​

· I will respect all the rules, instructions and all type of recommendations that are given to me by Peace & Pinecones; for my own safety and for the safety of others (participants or not) and of the setting where the activity takes place, whether it is a public area or a private property.

· I understand that it is my responsibility and decision to evaluate my suitability for the event and by booking to join an event it is in the understanding of the varying nature of being outdoors. By joining an event I recognize the foregoing and I agree to hold Peace & Pinecones harmless from any liability resulting from partaking in an event. (If you do have any mobility issues, any physical or psychological conditions that may effect your ability to join a session then please contact Peace & Pinecones in advance to discuss your suitability).

· Peace & Pinecones does not take any responsibility for any inappropriate behavior of participants during the events or for any damage caused to third parties (participants or not), or to the natural setting.

I have read the above and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above under my own free will. By booking a Peace & Pinecones Forest Bathing experience, I hereby agree to the terms and conditions above.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

​

A full refund is provided with at least 24 hours notice; no refund within 24 hours of the walk. The walks go in rain, snow or shine, unless there is heavy rain, flooding, heavy snow, poor air quality index due to fires, high winds, thunder or lightning. If it is cancelled by the guide due to weather or any other reason, the option for a full refund or exchange for a future forest bathing session will be given.
